Brantley Gilbert to Hold Benefit Show for Families of Chattanooga Shooting Victims

Brantley Gilbert to Hold Benefit Show for Families of Chattanooga Shooting Victims

We have just learned that Brantley Gilbert will be holding a benefit concert for the families of the fallen soldiers from the July 16 shootings at a military recruiting center in Chattanooga.

Brantley called in to Chattanooga’s US-101 on Monday and said, “When I heard the news I just had tears in my eyes. It pissed me off, but at the same time I want to do everything I can just to see if I can reach out and help these families a little bit. My condolences to the families and all the people of Chattanooga. I really hope we can pull this thing back together. I talked to management this morning and we’re going to see if we can bump that up a notch. We’re want to do a full-blown concert for them.”

No details are available yet, but we aren’t too surprised by Brantley’s act of generosity and patriotism. He recently finished his second Rolling Odyssey ride with soldiers from the Wounded Warrior Project, and his newest single, “One Hell of an Amen,” has been embraced by members of the military and their families.

We’ll keep you posted as location, date and time are announced.
