Kelsea Ballerini continues her amazing streak as her second single, “Dibs,” recently hit No. 1. Her debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It” topped the country charts in 2015, making Kelsea a perfect two-for-two so far in her still-young career.
Her achievement means Kelsea also joins a select body of female artists who reached No. 1 with their first two singles. Here’s the list of that august group.
- Donna Fargo – “The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A.,” “Funny Face” (1972)
- Wynonna Judd – “She Is His Only Need,” “I Saw the Light” (1992)
- Faith Hill – “Wild One,” “Piece of My Heart” (1994)
- Deana Carter – “Strawberry Wine” (1996), “We Danced Anyway” (1997)
