Show Quotes

  • “I have cash for you at the end, just tell me where to send the check.” Shawn Parr
  • “It has been such a blessing. This will be my 26th year. I can’t believe they still call me and allow me to do this each and every year. It started with ‘hi, may I have your order, please?’ and here we are 26 years later doing a show that is the classiest, most amazing, high-profile country show out there. I just love it.” Shawn Parr on his tenure as the voice of the ACM Awards
  • “Do you think they are ready for some new blood now?” Jim Casey
  • “I think I’d be good at it! What d’y’all think?”
    Tammy Ragusa
  • “My mother, God bless her. I lover her to death. She knew, when I went into radio, I have the gift to gab. We have six kids in our family. Blah blah blah blah. Guess who didn’t shut up the whole time?” Shawn Parr
  • “I was in the bathroom with you yesterday and you started asking me questions. It’s non-stop with Shawn.” Jim Casey
  • “If you’re in the elevator, nobody talks and nobody looks at each other. So, I can’t resist. I’m like, ‘LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WELCOME ABOARD THE MGM GRAND HOTEL AND CASINO ELEVATOR! WHEN YOU’RE GOING DOWNSTAIRS, THE CASINO AWAITS YOU! THROW YOUR MONEY ON THE TABLE AND WALK OUT AND SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME.’” Shawn Parr
  • “Oh, I hate people that speak to me in elevators. I do. It’s elevator etiquette. You’re supposed to be quiet and look down.” Jim Casey
  • “Is there elevator etiquette? I didn’t know that.” Shawn Parr
