RaeLynn: “You Just Never Know When You’re Going To Find Love”

She may be young, but she is incredibly happy.

RaeLynn has accomplished a lot in her her young life, including reaching the quarterfinals on the second season of The Voice under Blake Shelton’s tutelage, signing a record deal, releasing her debut EP, touring with Miranda Lambert on the Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour and, most recently, settling down to get married.

Cue the smile. Just the mere mention of her husband’s name, Joshua Davis, makes the 21-year-old singer grin from ear to ear. “Josh is the most incredible human in the world,” says RaeLynn. “We’re just having so much fun. He’s my best friend. I wouldn’t want to be a part of life with anybody else. It’s just incredible.”

Only three months into marital bliss, even RaeLynn was shocked at the prospect of finding her one true love at such an early age. “I still can’t believe I got married at 21 and I’m doing this. You just never know when you’re going to find love. When you find it, you just have to go with it. It’s absolutely amazing.”

But Josh isn’t the only man in RaeLynn’s life. The “God Made Girls” singer is getting ready to hit the road with her friend Blake Shelton, who announced that he will be kicking off his tour in the fall on Sept. 9 in Oklahoma City, Okla.—and he’ll be taking RaeLynn with him.

“I’m so excited!” says RaeLynn. “Blake has been like a big dad to me in this whole business for the last four years. The fact that he gave me this tour is absolutely incredible. It’s just me and him. It’s gonna be awesome. I can’t wait to hear him sing all of his hits every night. To be able to be on the road with him is going to be a lot of fun.”

After losing her label deal earlier this year, the Texas native assures NCD that she has “some stuff coming out very, very soon.” In the meantime you can catch RaeLynn on select tour dates throughout the summer.
