Watch Phil Vassar Get a Song Tune-Up on “Misfit Garage” Tonight

It’s just another day in paradise if you’re a fan of Misfit Garage, the Discovery Channel’s hot rod spinoff of Fast N’ Loud.

During tonight’s (Aug. 22) season finale, country crooner Phil Vassar—who is known for his No. 1 hits “Just Another Day in Paradise” and “In a Real Love”—stops by the Gas Monkey Garage to chat with his buddy, master mechanic Tom Smith. After getting a tour of the new shop, Phil invites the Misfit Garage gang onto his tour bus, where he pulls out his guitar and starts humming a song about the current car they are fixing up—a 1959 El Camino. The tune is pretty catchy, and Phil jokes that he might end up with a real song.

After going through the last two years, Thomas says, “I’ll never take for granted being able to come see y’all and I’m so fired up to play some of these new ones that were made with these nights in mind. I have a feeling things are going to get loud – I’m counting down the days already!”
