Cole Swindell received the Songwriter/Artist of the Year Award from the Nashville Songwriters Association International during the sold-out 46th Anniversary Hall of Fame Gala held at the Music City Center on Oct. 9. “It’s the biggest honor of my career by far because I moved to this town to be a songwriter . . . All I ever wanted to do was to write songs,” said Cole.
