Watch Miranda Lambert’s Emotional Performance of “Vice” on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon”

The night before her new album, The Weight of the These Wings, was set to be released, Miranda Lambert headed to the Big Apple to perform the first single from the album,”Vice,” on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Nov. 17.

The superstar belted out the heartfelt lyrics in true Miranda fashion—with plenty of emotion.

Another Vice / Another town, where my past can’t run me down / Another life, another call, another bed I shouldn’t crawl out of / At 7 a.m. with shoes in my hand / Said I wouldn’t do it, but I did it again / And I know I’ll be gone tomorrow night / Another vice.

Miranda recently released the album’s second single, “We Should Be Friends”—about the qualities needed in a person to maintain a friendship.

You can catch the Texas native performing on the Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 24 on CBS and when she hits the road in 2017 for the highly anticipated Highway Vagabond Tour, which kicks off on Jan. 26 in Evansville, Ind.

Michael Ray Honors His Grandma Penny with a Tattoo

Michael Ray Honors His Grandma Penny with a Tattoo

When you’re getting a permanent addition to you body, you want to make sure it means something, right?

Michael Ray has several tattoos, but each one has a personal connection to his life, “All my tattoos are either family based, religious based, or music based.”

He shares the story of one of his tattoos that honors his late grandmother, “So, my grandma, Penny, she passed away a couple of years ago, and I have a tattoo memory of my grandfather, and I wanted a tattoo for her. Her nickname was Penny, and I got a penny with my Grandmother’s birth year, 1942, on the date, on the inside of my arm.”

If he could change one thing about the tattoo…it would just be WHEN he got it. Turns out Michael got it on a show day, and it being on his arm, well, Michael admits “I started playing guitar that night…for the show, and it hurt like hell.”

But even with that night of pain Michael proudly says “it’s probably my favorite tattoo.”
