55th ACM Awards to Air Live From Nashville on Sept. 16

The Academy of Country Music announced that the 55th ACM Awards will air live from Nashville on Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. The show will take place at three iconic Nashville institutions: the Grand Ole Opry House, The Bluebird Cafe and Ryman Auditorium.

Keith Urban will host the show for the first time.

The ACM Awards were originally planned to air from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 5. The Academy scrapped the plan on March 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Garth Brooks – One of the 5 Honorees for Kennedy Center Honors 2021

Congrats to Garth Brooks — he’s been named as one of the honorees for the 43rd Kennedy Center Honors. Along with Garth, the lifetime achievements of Debbie AllenJoan BaezMidori and Dick Van Dyke will be celebrated. When he learned of the honor, Garth shared, “I’m humble. I’m proud. I’m all the good things.”

The Kennedy Center Honors will air June 6 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
