Kenny Chesney Cancels All 2020 Chillaxification Tour Dates

Kenny Chesney has cancelled his 2020 Chillaxification Tour.

Kenny planned to kick off his 2020 Chillaxification Tour on April 18 in Arlington, Texas. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March, 11 dates on the tour—from April 18 to May 28—were initially scrapped.

Kenny had hoped to reboot his Chillaxification Tour on May 30 in Pittsburgh, and continue the tour with more than 20 dates through August. However, the tour is now officially postponed until 2021.

“With so many tours needing to move, and wanting to make sure we are in the best possible circumstances for No Shoes Nation, I think—and I hate this—it’s best to move everything into 2021,” said Kenny in a statement on his website. “In the best interest of everyone—No Shoes Nation, my road family, the staff at the venues—we have decided to quit moving the dates around on the calendar trying to make a chunk of this year work and move where we believe we can roll out our entire Chillaxification Tour.”

The pandemic, however, didn’t stop Kenny from dropping his 19th studio album, Here and Now, on May 1.
